Members of the Robert M.Sterrett Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9063 in Bella Vista have scheduled their annual Christmas party for Saturday, Dec. 5. Social time will be at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m.
The holiday meal will include turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and all the trimmings, as well as three desserts.
The evening will also include Christmas music.

The theme for the Nov. 10 meeting is “The Old Bags,” featuring a purse giveaway. Guest speaker Dixie Gilmore of Grove, Okla., will talk about “Weathering the Storms of Life.”

Although current inventories at Community Blood Center of the Ozarks include at least a three-day supply for most blood types, it takes around 275 donations per day to meet the needs ofthe area hospitals that use CBCO products.
CBCO will hold a blood drive Friday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Delta Trust and Bank, 1790 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista.
