Hikes at Hobbs

The Ozark Hill Hikers walking club of Arkansas is sponsoring two group hikes with four routes on Oct. 31 at Hobbs State Park.

The hikes will be on the Hidden Diversity Multi-use Trail. One event will take place on the War Eagle Loop, while the other will be on the Dutton Hollow and Bashore Ridge loops.

Exercise at Riordan

With cooler weather quickly approaching, indoor classes at Riordan Hall provide an exercise alternative.

Classes in tone and strength conditioning and Zumba will be offered Thursday evenings, Oct. 22 and 29, Nov. 5, 12 and 19, and Dec. 3 and 17.

Instructor Gabrielle Campbell will teach tone and strength conditioning from 5:30 p.m. to 6:25 p.m., and Claudia Johnson will lead the Zumba class from 6:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.

The cost is $25 per class for seven sessions.

Registration is required. A minimum of five people are needed in order for a class to be held. The last day to register is Oct. 16.

The classes are sold as a pack of seven sessions. They cannot be purchased individually. Call 855-8170 for more information or to register. * * *

Lions sell golf balls

The Bella Vista Lions Club will sell used golf balls from 10 a.m. to noon each Saturday in October in the Arvest Bank parking lot at the Highlands Gate.
