The team of Bill Henning, Roy Knafla and Charles Learned took first place at bias bowling Oct. 13.
Bias bowling is played at Riordan Hall every Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Newcomers are always welcome.

Hi Scots end season
The Hi Scots Women’s Golf Group will host the final play of the summer season Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Berksdale Golf Course. The first tee time will be at 10:58 a.m.
Call Anita Ebert at 876-1279 to sign up. Play will be followed by a casual lunch and coffee at Papa Mike’s.
Members are also invited to sign up for the first day of winter golf, scheduled for Nov. 4.

A membership drive for the 2010 Bella Vista Women’s 18-hole Golf Club is now under way The season runs from March through October.
Dues for players are $35. Social memberships are available for $20. Applications are available at all Bella Vista golf shops and online at www.bellavistapoa.com.

Lions sell golf balls
The Bella Vista Lions Club will sell used golf balls from 10 a.m. to noon each Saturday in October in the Arvest Bank parking lot at the Highlands Gate.

Hikes planned at Hobbs
The Ozark Hill Hikers walking club of Arkansas is sponsoring two group hikes with four routes on Oct. 31 at Hobbs State Park.
The hikes will be on the Hidden Diversity Multi-use Trail. One event will take place on the War Eagle Loop, while the other will be on the Dutton Hollow and Bashore Ridge loops.
